94.7 The WAVE and Bank of the West have granted all of our Christmas Dreams for 2012.  Thank you to all who submitted.

Christmas Dream #1 – Tracy:

Tracey’s Christmas Dream is for two bikes for her grand children she’s had since birth, ages 16 and 14.  She’s had no support from their parents all their lives and can’t afford to get them new bikes due to being unemployed.

Christmas Dream #2 – Bridget:

Bridget is a single parent who adopted her nephew 8.5-9 years ago and has been raising him since.  She works various part-time jobs to make ends meet.  Lately she’s been having difficulty with her car, which without she can’t get to work to support him.   Her Christmas Dream is for money to have her older model car repaired.

Christmas Dream #3 – Letraya:

LaTraya’s Christmas Dream is for her three children.  She’s a single mother whose currently unemployed and is without a car.  After a tough year, she’d like to do something special for her children aged 2, 12 and 13.  To put a smile on their faces would be the greatest Christmas Dream this year.

Christmas Dream #4 – Anthony:

Anthony is a true family man, and his Christmas Dream is for food on the table and presents for his family.  Anthony has been out of work for 3.5 years and even though his family is very understanding, he wants them to have a wonderful Christmas this year.

Christmas Dream #5 – Liza

Liza is a disabled mother of four who has lupus and can no longer walk.   After her mother passed away a couple years ago, they haven’t been able to continue their tradition of going out for Christmas morning breakfast.  Liza’s wish is to be able to take her entire family out for a wonderful Christmas morning breakfast.

Christmas Dream #6 – Heather

Heather’s Christmas Dream is for an 80 year old woman who was kicked out of her home and has been living in her car with her son.   Each night, they drive around looking for a safe place to park.  People have offered to take her in, but not her son.  She refuses to leave the streets unless he can come too.  Heather wants some help for this 80 year old woman.

Christmas Dream #7 - Patricia

Patricia’s Christmas Dream is for her late friend Gloria’s children, who are trying to raise money for their mother’s funeral.  Patricia’s Christmas Dream is for her late friend’s children to still have a Merry Christmas despite these hard times.

Christmas Dream #8 – Joseph

Joseph is a disabled veteran who is living in a motel in Wilmington.  His Christmas Dream is to have some money to sleep better, an ice box, and some new clothes to get around.

Christmas Dream #9 – Tracey

Tracey’s Christmas Dream isn’t for herself, it’s to feed 200 people at the cost of $2.08 per person in conjunction with the Los Angeles Mission for the homeless.

Christmas Dream #10 – Treasure

Treasure is a precious 6-year-old girl whose Christmas Dream is simply for Christmas food.
