Tis the season once again and there is no question joy is in the air. With hope we move forward and look towards sharing these holiday times with our most precious loved ones.
And when it comes to shopping, one of my favorite places to go has always been the 99 Cents Only Stores.
It amazes how many treasures and basics you can find at the 99 Cents Only Stores, including name brand items.
This Thanksgiving and Christmas season shopping has already begun and I am ahead of the game with sweet little office gifts and those grocery items to make my time in the kitchen a piece of cake. Hee Hee!
Plus the decorations to fill my home with pure happiness are absolutely lovely.

Here is an easy little recipe to sweeten up your Thanksgiving Celebration. it’s also perfect for those office parties or to send to school with the kids, and all the ingredients, I was able to pick up at my 99 Cents Only Store!
Doin’ the 99 with this easy Oatmeal Raisin Cookie Recipe!
(FYI I found each and every ingredient at my local 99 Cents Only Store!)
1 stick butter
¾ cup firmly packed brown sugar
½ cup granulated sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 ½ cups flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
½ teaspoon salt
3 cups of oats
1 cup raisins
Heat oven to 350 Fahrenheit. Mix butter and sugars together until creamy. Add eggs and vanilla and beat well. Add combined flour, baking soda, cinnamon and salt and mix well. Then add the oats and raisins and make sure you mix well. Drop dough onto ungreased cookie sheets in rounded tablespoons and bake for 8 to 10 minutes until light golden brown.
