Hundreds Get Rare Glimpse Inside Capitol Records Tower

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Hundreds of people got a very rare tour inside the Capitol Records Tower on Sunday.

You can’t miss the iconic Capitol Records Tower as you approach the Vine Street exit on the Hollywood Freeway.

These Capitol Studios were Sinatra’s Studios for years.

This weekend, a lucky group of people had the chance to tour the famous building.

“They’ve only opened this place up for public tours twice in 60 years,” tour-goer Robert Hemedes said.

It was $50 for a short tour, and $100 for the 2-hour VIP tour.

The money of the ticket sales went to non-profit organizations.

Paul McCartney and the Beach Boys recorded at Capitol Tower.

Creative genius Brian Wilson loves the unique Echo Chamber, which is a big hit on the VIP tour.
