Trailer For ‘Annie’ Remake Starring Jamie Foxx and Quvenzhané Wallis Released

Jamie Foxx has anything but a hard knock life, but over the past few months the actor has been working hard on the remake of Annie.

Scheduled to be released at Christmas, the film stars 10-year-old Quvenzhané Wallis as Annie, Jamie Foxx as cold hearted Benjamin Starks and Cameron Diaz as the not-so-nice Miss. Hannegan.

This remake though will be a little different from the 1982 original.  It’ll take place in modern day and even has a reference to Facebook included.  Another difference is instead of Daddy Warbucks, there’ll be Benjamin Stacks, a wealthy politician, who befriends Annie to help his career but in the long run becomes emotionally attached to the young girl.

The musical comedy-drama is directed by Will Gluck and produced by Jay-Z and Will Smith.

One thing you can count on is the traditional singing and dancing!
