For a man with impeccable style and taste, it seemed only a matter of time before Lenny Kravitz unveiled his own fashion line. To do so, Kravitz is teaming up with California-based designer Fred Segal on a collection called Fred Segal x Kravitz Design, reports Fashion Times.
The collection will feature about ten unisex pieces ranging from clothing items, travel and fashion accessories and even a custom-made motorcycle. Prices for smaller pieces start at $100 and spike to $100,000 for the high-ticketed items.
“I grew up shopping at Fred Segal and have always felt connected to the brand and what it stands for – a vibe of laid-back luxury that resonates far beyond Los Angeles,” Kravitz told WWD, via Fashion Times.
Of course, Kravitz is no stranger to design. The stylish musician founded his own company Kravitz Design in 2003 that specializes in commercial and residential design projects. Most recently, his company created and decorated the set of the revived Queen Latifah Show.
This collaboration marks the first in 50 years for Fred Segal, and all pieces are imagined up by Kravitz himself. Kravitz’s pieces from the Fred Segal line are expected to hit stores sometime around spring 2014, with ten items to roll out over the course of the year.
