Whitney Houston To Receive Posthumous Award From Georgia Music Hall Of Fame
Following her tragic passing, the life and legacy of Whitney Houston continues to be honored and appreciated, and this year, the global pop star will receive a special honor in her memory.
The 35th annual Georgia Music Hall of Fame Awards Show will honor Houston with a posthumous award at its ceremony taking place at the Georgia World Congress Center on Saturday, Oct. 5th, reports SJN.
Houston’s brother Gary, who sang with her for 20 years, is set to make an appearance to perform a special tribute at the ceremony.
Houston lived in Atlanta, Georgia on and off for many years leading up to her untimely death in February 2012. Houston would have turned 50 years old on August 9 this year.
