Eric Marienthal & Friends Give Back For ‘High Hopes’ Charity Concert
Saxophonist Eric Marienthal is bringing a little ‘hope’ for brain trauma patients through his annual charity concert to benefit the High Hopes non-profit. Now in its 15th year, the Eric Marienthal and Friends Benefit Concert raises much needed funds to provide medical attention for victims who’ve suffered serious head injuries, but don’t have the finances for treatment.
Eric Marienthal and High Hopes director Mark Desmond joined Talaya in studio to talk a little about this organization and the benefit concert that’s helping better lives of those with severe brain trauma.
With a stellar lineup that includes the legendary Johnny Mathis, guitarist Chuck Loeb, Gorden Goodwin’s Big Phat Band, Debbie Boone, and a special surprise guest of the night, this is a concert you don’t want to miss.
“It sounds like a cliche, but it really has been a labor of love, here we are fifteen years later,” Eric told Talaya. “One of the most gratifying things to me has been to see how incredibly generous all the musicians are…every musician is doing this out of the goodness of their hearts.”
The High Hopes program is considered to be the best program in the world of its kind, but needs funding from events like this benefit concert to continue providing assistance to those in need.
Join Eric and his very special, surprise guests this Sunday, July 21st at the Hyatt Regency Newport Beach hosted by our very own Talaya Trigueros and enjoy the finest music at a beautiful location, all while helping out a good cause!
