Mariah Carey lived out every little girl’s fantasy when she got a chance to be a princess for a day. All in honor of her 5-year wedding anniversary.
According to Entertainment Tonight, Mariah and hubby Nick Cannon closed down the Disneyland Resort Tuesday night (April 30) to renew their wedding vows in a private fairytale ceremony in front of 250 invited guests.
Wearing matching princess-inspired gowns, a horse-drawn carriage took Mariah and her 2-year-old daughter Monroe to Main Street where she walked down the aisle in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle to meet Nick.
The Royal Footman from Cinderella, Major Domo, officiated the vow renewal and escorted all the guests to Fantasyland for a champagne toast and reception afterwards. As the night concluded, the horse-drawn carriage took the family back to the Dream Suite in the castle.
Of course, Mariah documented the picturesque night for all her followers on Twitter, posting photos and Vine videos throughout the evening. The ceremony also marked another special occasion for the Carey-Cannon family as they celebrated their twins Moroccan and Monroe’s 2nd birthday.
Carey, 43, and Cannon, 32, have renewed their wedding vows every year in extravagant fashion. Last year they renewed their vows at the Eiffel Tower in Paris, but after this year’s Disneyland ceremony we’re wondering, how will they manage to outdo themselves for their 6-year anniversary?
