94.7 The WAVE proudly celebrates Black History Month and is pleased to honor Dr. David Carlisle.

Dr. David Carlisle is the president of Charles Drew University of Medicine and Science and he is passionate about making quality health care a reality for all.

“I just want to make sure that everybody has a ticket to excellent health care. Regardless of who they are, what they are, their station in life, their ability to pay. I think that everyone should have the same right to excellent health care in this country, and it’s something that I have pursued with passion throughout my career,” said Carlisle.

Along with the highly anticipated return of the Martin Luther King Medical Center, Dr. Carlisle and Charles R. Drew University are all about quality health solutions to our community.
