We’re counting down the days until 94.7 The WAVE’s Christmas Concert starring Dave Koz and Kenny Loggins, plus many special guests on Dec. 16th at Nokia Theatre L.A. Live.
One of those special guests includes vocal group Pentatonix, who are the recent winners of the reality show The Sing-Off and have just released a brand new holiday album PTXmas last week.
Songs from Pentatonix’s new album can be heard playing right here on 94.7 The WAVE as part of L.A.’s new Soundtrack of Christmas, which came to the delight and surprise of the group itself!
While in the car, PTX members Kevin Olusola and Avi Kaplan heard the group’s song “Carol of the Bells” playing on the station for the first time, and had to capture the exciting moment on video to share with fans.
They write in the video description, “As Avi and I are driving to AMAs rehearsal today, we heard our “Carol of the Bells” on the radio! We freaked out! So dope! Oh my gosh!”
We’re glad to be part of their excitement! You can catch this talented quintet when they perform live on stage as part of The WAVE’s Christmas Concert on Dec. 16th. For more information and to purchase tickets to the show, click here.
