The story of one of the most beloved musical groups in history is still heating up the stage around the country. The hit musical Jersey Boys featuring the classic music and the tale of four blue collar boys who became international stars as Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons is as mesmerizing as ever!
Three of the cast members from Jersey Boys joined Pat Prescott in studio to talk about their latest engagement in Las Vegas’ Paris Casino and Hotel.
Devin May (Tommy Devito), Jeff Leibow (Nick Massy) and Graham Fenton (Frankie Valli) sat in to talk about playing these iconic musicians on stage, what it’s been like living in ‘Sin City’ while on tour, and what else the city has to offer besides just the Strip.
Performing the same show night after night hasn’t worn on the cast, mostly because the music and the characters are so iconic, it just never gets old to hear these classic songs.
“The Four Seasons are legends in Jersey, we really hold on to our rock stars from our home state,” said Graham, who also hails from New Jersey. “It’s not surprising the audience hasn’t tired of the show because I don’t think we’ve tired of it…I still love getting on stage and performing the show. It never gets old.”
Not only do the characters and the music remain timeless even after each show, but the storyline surrounding The Four Season’s close friendship through their rise in fame is something that everyone can relate to.
“I think they were really honest when they wrote this show in depicting the friendship and the relationship,” said Devin. “Even when they don’t get along, they still endeavor to get along and to get what needs to get done, done. I think that’s something that can be spread out across the country, especially now.”
The current Jersey Boys production also takes place in one of the most exciting cities in the country – Las Vegas. The cast talks about what it’s been like to live, work and play in Sin City, noting that the city offers a whole lot more than just clubs, casinos and late nights.
“There’s so much beyond the strip, there’s great hiking, there’s natural places you can go that’s not just concrete…there’s so many places to go, and when you want the strip, it’s there,” said Jeff.
So when you take a weekend trip to Vegas, make sure to schedule in going to see these talented performers as The Jersey Boys at Paris! For tickets and showtimes, visit www.jerseyboysinfo.com.
