This morning, the star of 94.7 The WAVE’s 25th Anniversary Show, Toni Braxton called in live from the set of her hit reality show, Braxton Family Values to talk about the upcoming show, plus all the behind the scenes family drama of her TV series, her past struggles in life, and her charity work helping raise awareness of autism.
“My sisters and I, we decided that whatever we did we were going to be honest. Sometimes I think a little too honest,” said Toni. “We’re all different. We have the same parents but completely different personalities.”
Braxton Family Values airs on on Thursdays at 6 on the WE channel, and is never short on drama!
In addition to her reality show, Toni does a lot of charity work raising awareness of autism, which her youngest son suffers from. “It’s been a long road, a lot of work,” said Toni, but luckily, her son was diagnosed at an early age, so she’s optimistic that by the time he’s 12, he’ll be limited in autism.
Toni is also dealing with a health issue herself. She currently suffers from Lupus, but she’s doing well, taking medication, exercising and all around living a healthier lifestyle.
