The music world is a close-knit community where fellow musicians support each other through tough times and are always there for each other. As is the case with guitarist [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Jeff Golub[/lastfm], who recently suffered loss of vision, but his musician friends are coming to his aid to help cover his accumulating medical bills while jamming out all at the same time.

Jeff’s famous friends and talented musicians like [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Mindi Abair[/lastfm], [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Brian Culbertson[/lastfm] and more are banding together to throw an All-Star Benefit Concert with proceeds going towards his medical costs at the Hyatt Regency Newport Beach in September.

A remarkable charity concert in Jeff Golub’s name is coming together in order for fans to enjoy some spectacular music and help out Jeff’s medical costs from his vision loss all at the same time.

Musicians scheduled to perform at the Friends Of Jeff Golub All-Star Benefit Concert include Mindi Abair, [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Rick Braun[/lastfm], [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Henry Butler[/lastfm], [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Brian Culbertson[/lastfm], [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Richard Elliot[/lastfm], [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Michael Lington[/lastfm], [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Jeff Lorber[/lastfm], [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Eric Marienthal[/lastfm], [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]David Pack[/lastfm], [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Philippe Saisse[/lastfm], [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]John Waite[/lastfm], [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Kirk Whalum[/lastfm], [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Peter White[/lastfm], plus more to come.

There will also be a guest appearance by comedian Alonzo Bodden, and a special performance by the guest of honor, Jeff Golub himself. All the proceeds raised from the event will go towards the Jeff Golub Medical Fund to help with treatment and medical costs.

The concert is scheduled for September 15th at the Hyatt Regency Newport Beach. More details on the benefit concert to come.
