Fresh off the Smooth Jazz Cruise, [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Brian McKnight[/lastfm] is keeping his days busy by preparing for a special live concert for a DVD recording to pair with his upcoming live album. And the best part is that The WAVE listeners can join Brian for his intimate one man show all for free.

Brian McKnight called in to Pat & Kim this morning to give a preview of what to expect from this unique concert, and wants you to join him for this special occasion.

McKnight has put together a concert experience like no other to show fans another side of his artistry and music. His new one man performances are stripped down to just his vocals, guitar and piano while sharing personal stories of the meaning behind his songs.

Not many fans get to experience a first hand account of what an artist was feeling when writing their music, but lucky fans in the Los Angeles area will have that chance this upcoming Tuesday, Feb. 8. Brian McKnight is throwing a free concert which will be recorded live and released in conjunction of his new live album out in May.

With his fans in mind, McKnight decided to make it free of charge since it wasn’t a normal concert and just wanted his fans to “be part of the experience.” He’ll be joined by his sons BJ and Niko and his brother Claude from the group Take Six.

So bust out your fanciest outfit and join Brian McKnight this Tuesday, Feb. 8 at the Avalon in Hollywood for an intimate, unplugged concert of his most famous hits. Just email bmcknightconcert@gmail.com for tickets and information about the show!
