This weekend in Cannes, France, WAVE artists [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Beyoncé[/lastfm] and [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Usher[/lastfm] packed their suitcases with a couple of well-deserved trophies from the 12th annual NRJ Music Awards.
Usher won the International Male Artist of the Year Award after the release of his sixth album Raymond v. Raymond.
Afterwards he tweeted: “Thank you NRJ Awards for the International Male Artist of the Year Award!”
Along with pop singer [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Lady Gaga[/lastfm], Beyoncé won Music Video of the Year award for the song “Telephone.” Other winners included [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]The Black Eyed Peas[/lastfm] who won for International Group/Duo of the Year and Concert of the Year’.
