Everyone has a list of the things they want to accomplish before they kick the bucket and [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Dave Koz[/lastfm] is no exception. While the musician has performed with male musical powerhouses like [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Stevie Wonder[/lastfm] and [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Luther Vandross[/lastfm], he’s got a couple of wonderful women in mind for his next musical collaboration.

In an interview with JazzTimes, Koz says,”My dream album is to—now this may just be in my head and of course I’ve not talked to her about it—but I would like to re-create the [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Nancy Wilson[/lastfm] and [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Cannonball Adderley[/lastfm] album with [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]k.d. lang[/lastfm]. That’s something that’s in my mind. She’s one of my all-time favorites…I love[lastfm link_type="artist_info"] Norah Jones[/lastfm] too…As far as communicators are concerned, there’s [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Joni Mitchell [/lastfm]who is unbelievable. [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]George Benson[/lastfm] is so filled with talent too…. And…there’s this singer that just came out last year named [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Janelle Monae[/lastfm]—unbelievable, an incredible spirit that just came out of nowhere. It’s like ‘Wow, who’s that?’”
