PBS Airing James Taylor And Carole King Special

The melodious duo will be featured on PBS’ special Carole King and James Taylor: Live at the Troubadour, now airing on the station.  Check out what you can expect from the special concert after the jump!

The Troubadour has sort of sentimental value for the two artists, when back in 1970 they performed together for the very first time at the intimate Hollywood venue.

Flash forward to thirty-six years later in 2007 when the duo teamed up once again with original members of their band The Section for a three night, six show performance to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Troubadour.

These shows were recorded on a special 2 disc CD/DVD  and released by Hear Music/Concord Music Group in May, and now PBS will be airing the performance that includes songs “So Far Away,” “Carolina In My Mind,” “Fire and Rain,” “You’ve Got a Friend,” and many more.

Check PBS.org for local listings and when the special will air in your area!
